Melisa Frances Sanzone, MA, R-DMT, is a Body-Centered Psychotherapist, with a private practice in Boulder, CO. Melisa has a Master’s Degree from the Somatic Counseling Psychology and Dance/Movement Therapy program at Naropa University.
As Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, and Certified Autism Movement Therapist, Melisa’s therapeutic background includes her work with groups, children, adolescents and families in schools and mental health settings.
In addition to facilitating workshops and leading women empowerment groups, Melisa Frances has served as mentor to adolescent girls exploring life issues that impact the physical, psychological and spiritual development of women.
Currently, Melisa’s private practice focuses on her work with individuals and couples addressing issues of relationship, sexuality and intimacy.
An active member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), Melisa is currently pursuing a certification in Sex Therapy. Her goal in so doing is to support individuals and couples in developing greater understanding of the inner workings of relationship on issues of sexuality and intimacy. Melisa hopes that through this work, she can help to promote more secure-functioning and loving relationships.
